Auckland Art Gallery holds a large and significant permanent collection of New Zealand art. Alongside historic, modern, and contemporary New Zealand art, the collection includes outstanding works by Māori and Pacific Island artists, as well as international paintings, sculptures and prints ranging in date from the 11th century to the present day.
