Junior collections

Our Junior Collections contain resources suitable for classroom use. They include:

Non-fiction and fiction

For pre-school, primary and junior secondary including resources in Māori and some Pacific Island languages.
Located in the General library (City Campus) and Tai Tokerau campus.

Readers

For developing literacy skills. Readers are available in English, Māori and some Pacific Island languages.

Children's literature

These New Zealand websites promote the importance of reading and include information about authors, book reviews and resources for teachers.

Many publishers and authors also provide resources on their websites for teachers to use.
